Crate Mould(FURNITUREMOULD) generally has low requirements on the surface of the product, so it is not necessary to use too good mould steel. The common mould steel materials can be selected by P20 and 718H. Mould design is a key point when making crates, and the design of the crates cooling system is the most important in the design because the cooling system is related to the moulding cycle of the crate mould, which directly affects the production cost. Moreover, the design of the cooling system is a relatively cumbersome task, considering both the cooling effect and the uniformity of cooling, and the influence of the cooling system on the overall structure of the mould. The crate mould flows in each part of the mould by circulating water, which reduces the cooling time during injection moulding, improves the production efficiency of the products, and greatly reduces the production cost.
The design of the gating system and the exhaust system need to be considered together. Generally, the feeding port of the one-time forming crate is at the bottom, and most of the hot runners are selected, which not only makes the crate more rapid, but also the hot runner can save a lot of the gate material. After selecting the inlet, it is necessary to do the mould flow analysis, select the exhaust position, determine the position of the joint, in order to verify the stress point of the crates, and prevent the crates from cracking on some important stress surfaces. These are all confirmed before the mould is produced.
